Congratulations to Diana Romero for achieving United Van Lines’ elite 2011 Inner Circle Award! The Inner Circle Award is only rewarded to the top 3 “best of the best” sales members in individual sales category throughout the United Van Lines family.

Diana Romero has been a dedicated employee of Horizon since March 5th, 1990. During her tenure with Horizon she has attained many accomplishments, some of which are: 3 time UniGroup salesperson of the month, Masters Club recipient from 2000-2011 and earned the prestigious Inner Circle 2001, 2007, 2010 and 2011! When she is not in the field serving her customer’s needs, Diana enjoys spending time with her Grandson Gideon Leon.

Horizon In The Community
Horizon Moving Systems had the honor of transporting the Freedom Steadfast Angel of Love from Pennsylvania to Arizona.

Christina-Taylor, who was the youngest of the six victims shot and killed on January 8, 2011 during the shooting spree in Tucson, Arizona.

Christina-Taylor, was taken to an informal town hall meeting by a neighbor and was shot during this tragic event. She died on the scene from a single bullet wound to her chest.

In honor of Christina-Taylor Green (who was a 9/11 baby), there will be a 9-foot, 11-inch statue made from World Trade Center steel that will soon stand in an Oro Valley park. Horizon Moving Systems had the honor of picking up the statue and transporting it to Tucson, Arizona. During the move, the drive stopped at Fenton, MO (United Van Lines Headquarters), Oklahoma City, OK and Alamogordo, NM, where we had opportunities for the local communities to come and pay tribute.

The statue is scheduled to be dedicated on April 1, 2011 at James D. Kriegh Park in Oro Valley, AZ, where Christina played Little League. The baseball field at Kriegh Park will be named “Green Field” in honor of Christina-Taylor and the statue will stand in the southeast section of the field bearing her last name.
